A special legacy:
Our beautiful Jenny passed away peacefully on November 16th, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. We’re asking for donations in lieu of flowers to support Redcliffe Hospital. Jenny worked as a midwife there for much of her career then spent her last days with the support of their amazing palliative care team.
All donated money will go towards the purchase of a new Draeger Babyroo for the Redcliffe Hospital birth suite. You can read more at https://www.draeger.com/en_aunz/Products/Babyroo-TN300, but basically this is a special piece of hi-tech equipment used to support newborns needing a little extra TLC. There will be a little plaque on the machine saying that some of the funds were donated in loving memory of Jenny.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a tax-deductible receipt via email as soon as you make your donation.
