Zouki partnership brews community support for Redcliffe Hospital

A simple cup of coffee is helping raise support for better healthcare in the Moreton Bay community, with the partnership between Zouki Café and Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital raising more than $9,000 for Redcliffe Hospital last financial year.

Since the partnership launched, 10 cents from every coffee sold at Zouki Cafés at Redcliffe Hospital has been donated to Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital, demonstrating how small contributions can add up to make a big difference.

The partnership is one example of the growing role local businesses can play in supporting their community and helping strengthen healthcare close to home.

“Partnerships like this show the incredible impact that can be achieved when local businesses and the community come together to support their local hospital,” said Sharyn Tidswell, Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital Manager.

“More than $9,000 raised through everyday coffee purchases is a fantastic result. It shows that when we all do a little, together we can raise a lot. The collective contribution of thousands of people choosing to support their local hospital can make a real difference for patients, families and staff at Redcliffe Hospital.”

Dion Zouky, Managing Director, Zepicure, said Zouki was proud to support Redcliffe Hospital and the local community.

“We’re proud to partner with Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital and to give back to the community we’re part of. It’s important to us at Zouki to give back, and this is a great example of how small contributions can add up over time and make a real difference,” he said.

Funds raised through Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital support projects that raise patient comfort, support staff and help fund research initiatives that deliver better healthcare for the growing Moreton Bay region.

The success of the Zouki partnership highlights the impact of community partnerships, where businesses can build giving into what they do every day, while customers can make a difference simply by supporting a local business.

"When you choose to support a local business that is supporting Redcliffe Hospital, you're helping raise it for our whole community," Sharyn said.

Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital welcomes partnerships with local businesses and organisations looking to help make a lasting difference to healthcare in the Moreton Bay community.
