The magical fellow in red was joined by his merry helpers from Lewis Land - owners of The Komo and The Belvedere, and Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital - an initiative of the RBWH Foundation.
Baby Beau’s parents, Sutha and Rachel, say they’ll treasure the memory forever.
"We were so blessed today to be there!” said Rachel.
“After 25 nights in hospital... upon discharge today our beautiful Beau got to meet Santa for the first time. Thankyou Santa for making the kids smile today. Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital made our day - and Beau’s!”
“Christmas would have to be the most difficult time of year for families to experience illness and injury,” said Chris Allison.
“Distracting children from pain and discomfort, even for a few hours, and spreading the joy of Christmas in a community we’re very proud to be part of, truly is a highlight of our year.”
Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital Fundraising Manager Sharyn Tidswell said this was the sixth year Lewis Land had sponsored Santa’s visit.
“Since 2020, Lewis Land’s generosity has distributed about 2600 toys across the Paediatric Emergency Department, Children’s Ward, Maternity/Neonatal Unit, Child Protection Unit and Social Work team,” said Sharyn.
“Raise it for Redcliffe Hospital values our partnership with Lewis Land in making this possible.”
