Sick children at Redcliffe Hospital Paediatric Unit can now benefit from warmed blankets, thanks to an Ausbuild Community Fund grant.
With young patients often struggling to maintain their body temperature, the newly purchased Blanket Warmer will make an incredible difference during recovery.
Warmed blankets can also help reduce anxiety and provide a sense of security for children, improve sleep quality, and even assist with reducing pain and promoting healing – getting kids better faster and home where they belong.
